ABOUT HRPEC
MISSION
The Human Rights and People Empowerment Center (HRPEC) is a non-profit organization that aims to open spaces where different communities converge and create initiatives to advance the cause of human rights.
VISION
We envision a society where rights are realized, protected, and guaranteed for all.
What are HRPEC’s goals?
Promote constructive and inclusive discourse on human rights, in its various forms and contexts.
Facilitate consistent programs that encourage open dialogue and allow converging perspectives to be channeled into collective effort.
Foster long-term linkages among communities, in order to sustain collaborations that advance the cause of human rights.
What are HRPEC's current programs?
HRPEC joins the human rights community in the Philippines, both state and non-state actors, in responding to the needs of the localities and in lending its expertise and faculties for amplifying advocacies centered on our rights. Aided by a broad network of cultural workers and partners, it holds educational discussions, film-screenings, forums, capacity-building seminars, and workshops for communities and organizations.
